One year after the implementation of its social media framework, Canada Business engaged Re-Think to conduct a review of the effectiveness and efficiency of its use of social media, including twitter and the Canada Business blog, including the management of moderated comments. We used data from the Web Analytics and social media analytics (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.) to assess the impact of social media on Canada Business’ web-related objectives as defined in its performance measurement framework. The project also included noting any areas for improvement, making recommendations for changes and future strategies, and updating the social media framework, policies and guidelines that govern the use of social media.
