Information Architecture for Trade Websites — Foreign Affairs and International Trade
The Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada’s (DFAIT) Trade Policy and Negotiations Branch Area Management Office engaged Re-Think to develop a new information architecture for the Export and Import Controls and Trade Negotiations and Agreements websites. The goal of the project was to improve the usability of the websites and also allow them to comply with the new Government of Canada usability standard. Re-Think developed the information architecture for both sites and supported the implementation by identifying pages that could be removed, ones that needed to be revised, and additional content that was required. Re-Think also helped create some of the missing content to ensure consistency and smooth transitions throughout the website.
